I helped Paul Dixon and Craig Merritt do the Saturday morning recycling for Rongotea. They do it every second week. Iris and I went to do it with Jade, Jack and Bella. First we put good shoes on, then we grabbed a pair of gloves in case we were handling sharp objects like glass. Then we hopped on the ute, and we were off! When we had done a couple of stops we brought it back to a big truck not so far away from the Dixons house, on Tamar Street. We sorted them into groups.
It took three hours. It was tiring but I liked it.
