Walk the

Bridle Track

For my fourth challenge I walked the bridle track between Te Matai road and the Fitzherbert bridge. The bridle track was 6.2 km long and we walked for a hour and sixteen minutes. We mostly followed the Manawatu river but there was a detour. Work was being done on it, so we couldn't follow the track people mostly took. There were a lot of people biking and walking and when we were almost there we saw some cliffs eroded by the river, there was even a fence hanging in on the side! Before we started the track we went to the esplanade. My Dad left the bike here so when we went to walk the track, the bike was waiting for us at the esplanade. Then Dad could go back and bring the car and the bike!

I felt a bit tired and stressed after but it was worth it! It was fun to do something new with my family.
